Serve as Regional Trustee of Board for US Northwest Region
Following are the key timelines regarding Trustee Resume processing:
- Qualified candidates should submit resume to Area 33 Chair at area33chairperson@nebr-al-anon-alateen.org and Area 33 Delegate area33delegate@nebr-al-anon-alateen.org by April 30th, 2023
- Resumes will be presented at AWSC meeting prior June Assembly. AWSC will make recommendation to send resumes for Northwest RT candidates prior to the June Assembly for discussion and possible vote.
- Area Chair will send resume(s) to the World Service Office (WSO) by August 15th, 2023
- Candidates selected for interview will be contacted by WSO
- Interview conducted. (see the 3rd attachment for details on time frame)
- Candidates will be affirmed by 2024 World Service Conference and duties will begin.

New Al-Anon Group – Thursday Night Step Study AFG – Omaha NE
The new Al-Anon group, Thursday Night Step Study AFG, is meeting on Thursday Nights at 7:00 PM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. The address is 4117 Terrace Drive Omaha, NE 68134. The meeting entrance is on the East side of the church. If handicap access is required, use the main doors on the south side of the church. Group Changes Can Now Be Made Online
The World Service Office (WSO) has made it easier for Members to submit Group changes via an online form. This form is setup to take all the necessary information to submit any type of change and then emails the information directly to the Area Group Records Coordinator to update the WSO database and any local databases they also may manage. The online form can be found on the WSO website:
