Welcome to the Nebraska Area 33 Website

This website provides information specific to Al-Anon and Alateen meetings located in the state of Nebraska and an overview of the Al-Anon program.

The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope, in order to solve their common problems. We believe alcoholism is a family illness, and that changed attitudes can aid recovery.  (Used with permission from the Al-Anon/Alateen Service Manual 2018-2021, Al-Anon Family Group Headquarters, Inc.)   Learn More About Al-Anon Family Groups and Alateen

Alateen provides a safe place for young people affected by someone else’s drinking to share their own experience, strength, and hope with each other, and to learn how to apply the principles of the Al‑Anon/Alateen program to their lives.
